My Smoky Mountain Vacations

I love the Smoky Mountains and our family spends waaay too much time in the Smokies in the park and at all the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. So I decided to start a blog of our many trips to the mountains. Why do we like Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, you ask? Or maybe, "How can you stand the traffic, the tacky shops, and the thousand and one putt-putt places?" Well, if you can get past all that, the Smokies are a natural paradise and if you know the back roads you can avoid all the tacky shops and artificial fun. And really, Dollywood and some of the other "man-made" attractions can be lots of fun - at least in small doses.
